The Producers meeting to secure your studio times for the upcoming quarter will be held on Monday, September 13^th at 7pm.   Be there or be without studio time this fall!

If anyone would like to attend the Studio in a Box training this month, send me an email to confirm your attendance.  I will hold the class Wednesday (tomorrow) at 6:30pm if enough producers plan to attend.

SPECIAL CLASS OFFERED:  Storytelling for TV and Film

Julie Akins, the KOBI News Director, is offering a special four week course at RVTV on Tuesdays, beginning September 14^th from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. The workshops will include learning to create documentaries & news gathering techniques.  We almost have the minimum number of students required to hold the course, so if you’re still on the fence… shoot me an email to confirm your spot on the roster.  The fee is $100.  To take advantage of this educational opportunity, please register ASAP by contacting me at givensb@sou.edu.

"Last Week in Review”

There were no Public Access Productions last weekend due to the Labor Day Holiday.

REMINDER:  It is not Nick’s “job” to direct everyone’s shows. Nick has other duties at RVTV to take care of during the recording of your studio shows. DO NOT dependent on him for that nor to find you a crew. It is up to you to find your own director and crew for your studio shows. The best way to do that is to volunteer to help other Producers with their show. They are then morally obligated to assist you with yours!
