ASHLAND TOWN HALL

         Live on RVTV Channel 9 on the First Wednesday of every month 6:00 p.m.   Ashland Town Hall began on Sept. 25, 1990 and is RVTVs longest running viewer call-in program.   It features guests from the City of Ashland, including the mayor, city administrator and city councilor in a round table discussion about issues affecting Ashland’s city government.  Each program is repeated on Channels 9 & 14, please see the weekly program schedule for exact dates and times and the show can be seen on Video on Demand at http://www.ashland.or.us/ .

  

MEDFORD FORUM 

        Live on RVTV Channel 9 on the Fourth Thursday of every month at 6:00pm.  The Forum has been a monthly presentation by the Mayor and City Council of Medford since January, 1994.   It features specific topics of interest to Medford residents and guests include members of the city council and city staff.  Each  program is repeated on Channels 9 & 14, please see the weekly program schedule for exact dates and times.

 

ASK THE COMMISSIONERS 

         Live on RVTV Channel 9 on the Third Wednesday, every other month at 7:00pm.  Ask the Commissioners features a live discussion with the three-member Jackson County Board of Commissioners, and has been produced at RVTV since 1998.  This program is repeated on Channels 9 & 14, please see the weekly program schedule for exact dates and times.

 

MOVING AHEAD WITH ODOT

          Live on RVTV Channel 9 on the Second Wednesday of every month at 6:00pm.   “Moving ahead with ODOT” is a monthly presentation by the Oregon Department of Transportation.  The program features topics of interest to the travelling public and updates on various ODOT highway projects in Southern Oregon.  For information contact Jared B. TECH TALK

        Live on RVTV Channel 9 on the First Tuesday of every month at 6:00pm.  “Tech Talk” is a monthly presentation produced by Project A, Inc.   CEO Jim Teece explores the local world of new technology and how it is changing lives in the Rogue Valley.  He can be contacted at

MEDFORD POLICE DEPARTMENT “RULES OF THE ROAD”

        Live on RVTV Channel 9 on the Fourth Wednesday of every month at 6:00pm.  “Rules of the Road” began on RVTV in April 2000.    This program explores traffic laws and how they are applied by the Medford Police Department.  The program is moderated by Lt. Bob Hansen.  This program repeats on both Channels 9 & 14.  Please see the weekly program schedules for exact dates and times.

 

 


 

MEDFORD CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS: 

        Live on RVTV Channel 14 on the First and Third Thursday of each month at Noon and 7:00pm.   Gavel-to-gavel coverage of each meeting is included. Each city council meeting is repeated three times.   Please check the weekly program schedules for exact dates and repeat times.  For agenda information please see the City of Medford Web Site at www.ci.medford.or.us

JACKSON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

     Live on RVTV Channel 14 each Wednesday at 9:30am and repeated each Wednesday evening at 8:00pm on RVTV Channel 9 and 14.   Gavel-to-gavel coverage of each meeting.  The Commissioners are the ultimate government body for Jackson County’s Government.  Each meeting is repeated three times.  Please check the program schedule for exact dates and repeat times.  For information:  www.jacksoncounty.org
